On January 21, 2013 3Sat nano broadcast a documentary about the liver protein fetuin-A, which may trigger metabolic problems. The main focus of the film was on the research findings of Professor Norbert Stefan of the DZD partner institute IDM in Tübingen. Professor Hans-Georg Joost of the German Institute of Human Nutrition in Potsdam, another partner in the DZD, was also cited.
