Open Postdoc Positions in DZD Partner Institutes

The German Center for Diabetes Research (DZD) is inviting young scientists to apply for 10 postdoc positions in translational diabetes research at its partner institutions.

The German Center for Diabetes Research (DZD) is a national association combining the efforts of leading German academic research institutions and universities. It seeks to recruit a new generation of biomedical scientists who will translate fundamental scientific discoveries into novel individualized prevention and therapy strategies for type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

The research areas of the DZD include the investigation of the molecular mechanisms underlying diabetes, beta cell research, the development of novel therapeutic approaches, clinical studies and epidemiological research.

Applicants should have a PhD or MD degree as well as relevant experience and a proven publication record in diabetes research. Excellent communication skills, fluency in English and the ability to work independently and together with a team are essential.
Talented postdocs who are accepted will receive 2-year fully funded postdoctoral positions where they can focus on a research project in one of the DZD partner institutes.
